TOTALLY AGREE... pty there arent more people like us hey???? I will be honest and say they arent my fav breed but I think they got a bad rap for nothing. HUmans can be discusting the way they treat dogs like these.

I completely agree! I believe (even for other breeds) that it all has to do with proper breeding & raising. But like you said, any breed can be mean.

Ours are all spoiled too. LOL They probably think they are our kids. :-P

You can make any dog mean if you raise it that way.Ours has been nothing but loved and spoiled.She's as much family as one of the kids.;-)

Yes, here is a picture of my Lab/Pit...I'm guessing mine is mostly pit though, but I'm not sure. His ears are definately Lab.

Haven't you read any of the responses before yours? I have heard of poodles killing kids, labs as well. In fact, it was a Lab that caused a French woman to have a face transplant. I'm not afraid of anything. I'm just sick of ignorant people like you not getting educated before responding. Pit Bulls have to be leashed & mussled because of stupid people saying "OMG that dog looks scary". Most of them wouldn't hurt anything. Oh, wait, you haven't been paying attention to that part. I guess what I should have said was "I am sick & tired of all the ignorant people in the world judging the breed of dog I chose & I would like to not have to comment to their stupidity. So anyone who admires the breed is free to post here so they don't tire me with their nonsense"

In the city where I live a crossing guard was mauled after school one day by a "golden retreiver". All dogs have teeth and can bite. its up to the owner to train it responsibly.

Thanks so much for your response. :) What are Dobies like? I've never had one & I'm sorry to say that I have seen a lot of mean ones (their owners trained them to be that way). I'm sure they're not all like that, so what is yours like?

She is great, I have 2 younger kids and she is great with them also she is a certified therapy dog. She is the smartest dog I ever had, very obedient and loyal. I will never get anything different again.
