As world is rolling fast we fall short of remembering crucial things that deserve to be given utmost importance........and all of a sudden we realize oh....wat happened to that?....v r so busy that we cant even afford time to think about it...its better to follow a diary that you preserve it personally....important ocassions , things of gr8 significance can be mentioned.....if at all once you get some time just refer it and it tells what u are.......

hi twinklee! That is very true. However, i don't write or keep a personal diary anymore as I used to when I was so much younger. I only have a daily planner now which can help me in remembering important dates and appointments to keep.
take care and have a great day!

Hi twinklee!
Sorry but here in my place, there is a difference between a personal diary and a daily planner.
The personal diary I used to use before is a record with discrete or very personal entries arranged by date reporting on what has happened over the course of a day or other period or what has just transpired to me within that day.
And the daily planner is an organizer that helps me to become more organized in my business and personal activities. It is a daily planner or organizer that allows me to schedule and categorize daily activities by priority. Daily planners are typically dated, wire bound calendars and mostly are broken-down by hourly segments designed to accommodate any schedule. The one-page-per-day format allows for detailed planning or for managing busy schedules.
I hope this can clarify why I responded that I am not keeping a personal diary anymore and instead I am using a daily planner.

I never wrote in a diary growing up I never felt the urge to keep one. I grew up very sheltered and not really wanting to express how I felt. I of course recieved three or four since im a girl but they always ended up in a drawer somewhere. Now that im an adult I have so much emotions inside that I need to come out. I find that writting on here helps to be a way of release. Im thankful to have a place to talk to people and let out how I feel. Thanks mylot!

I tried keeping a diary several years ago, but got bored with it quickly. My mother keeps a diary, so if there's any important event regarding the family, it will be in her diary.

I keep a diary. Its on line. The weird thing is one blogging site pays me to keep it. The more readers I get the more money I make. I still use it like a diary though even though I know other people are reading it. It helps me think and deal with problems that come up in life.

i used to keep a journal of events and parties i went to. and in 2003, i decided to turn it into a novel and fictionalize it, and call it The Sand Dollar by Fifi Leigh.

I've had a diary on and off since I was about 8 years old. I found some of my old ones when I was going through some boxes and thought it was funny that on one day I put "nothing happened today besides school, mum did a fish fingers for dinner". I still keep a diary now as much as possible. I don't want to forget things that have happened to me, even if they are silly little things

I used to write a diary from the age of 14 -22. Now I write intermittently about my toughts in an online blog. I prefer this to a diary although it is of course not personal as others can read it lOL
