Being a teacher can be quite challenging.
Being in charge of others as a matter of fact can be a big challenge.
These task requires great leadership skills if one is to be successful.
Do you think you would do well as a teacher?
Could you handle a bunch of hyper students everyday along with the work load of setting and marking test and assignments?
Boy its a lot of work.
I say hats off to all teachers. The kids at home can be such a handful... Can you imagine dealing with an entire class?

I agree with you , teachers deserve a lot of recognition for the hard work they do. I could never do that type of work, I don't have the patience for that.

I actually enjoyed volunteering in my sons Kindergarten class last year. I would think I would be ok as a substitute teacher or assitant/helper in the class and assist the main teacher with activities. I'm sure it would be hard work but enjoyable at the same time.

I think I can do that well. The key to a successful lesson is good classroom management. I taught almost all kinds of students and i didn't have any problems. I even taught classes of high school boys. I guess, it all depends on how you project yourself to the students. Teaching is really a stressful job. Marking and correcting papers take your personal/family time. It's a serious job for serious people. We can either make or break students, so that alone is worth pondering.
