Being Rich is always a state of mind.
In this money also plays a very important role, as it bring all the goodies available out there.
On the other hand for some people money does not have a significant value eg. social workers.
People like them work for a different goal all together.
Take care.

Yes Money is important. With money comes happiness. if you dont have money, you dont have food, clothing and shelter. And if you dont have money your always worried about it, worried about your next bill, how you'll put food on the table, and that makes a person unhappy. And unpleasent to be around. So money is happiness, and its tTHE most important thing next to emotional well being such as love and happiness, and health. MONEY IS EVERYTHING these days.

Even If I do not consider Money as one of the important things in life ; It is indeed very much needed for our existence.
We do need a considerable amount of money for our basic needs of food , home and clothing as well as basic transportation . What is debatable is whether you need to be very rich to be able to consider whether or not you have lived life fully ?
It is how much wealth we should endeavour for ;is the real question .

I think that if the problem at hand is poverty over marriage because of money - then it would not be such a hard choice for other people. Money may not be the most important thing in the world but it is needed for anyone to live a decent and respectable life - we wouldn't grow without money, physically and spiritually - where to buy food? where to get fees for education? It all comes down to money :)
Thanks for the response on my discussion!

sad to say i do consider money as one of the important things in life. without a good amount of it, you wouldn't be able to get by in where i live (bay area, california). yes you can still enjoy life without money, but i also want to live comfortably knowing that i will have a roof over my head next month, that i will have food every day, and clean clothes to change into after a long day.

No i do not consider money to be an important thing in my life. Yes it is nice to have it to pay bills, go shopping, and buy for my loved ones, but no. My family is one of the important things in my life, as well as my religion. I did not marry for money, i married for love and the respect that we mutually share together. Money causes problems, but it does pay the bills.
