which laptop would you recomend me?

hi, im going to buy a new laptop.. one that would work good for sound studios and for programming... which would you buy?

sound studios and programming do not really require the same from a laptop. i think resource wise sound studios are much more demanding than ide's. i'm not too familiar with laptops for sound processing etc. but it seems like professionals have them especially assembled. good luck with the hunt

I too asked a question like this when I was pruchaing mine. It's such a big market with so many differing models and makes. In the end though I stuck with a Dell computer and haven't been disappointed. I bought an Inspiron 1525 which at the time was just under four hundered pounds although you can get much more for your money now. It comes with pretty much everything a laptop needs and the fact your buying it from Dell you can decide what you want your laptop to come with...this includes some software and extra accessories like web cams and different coloured shells etc.
