help me create a blog in mylot

Can anybody out there tell me how to make a blog in this site??? I do mylot's instructions on how to create a blog. I am just not sure if I do it right! Mylot says I have to claim my new blog first before it can finally be activated. Again, I am given 2 options and instructions to do it.... I have to make my first post in my homepage... But how will I do so? What site will I open? What is a HOMEPAGE? PLEASE HELP.......
