what did you get out of it?

I agree. As you see things in our country "progress" it becomes closer and closer like this little nightmare. I see the people at the top and all the "elitists" as a bunch of progressive nuts. I see Edgar Friendly as more of an American hero and a Libertarian type instead of these nutty people who want to control you. I'm a very political person and this movie is one of my all time favorites. My favorite quote? When John Spartan scratches his hand and says "This fascist crap makes me want to puke" because it's SO true!
