I'm here in Ohio and truthfully, I can't even see my car right now. I live in an apartment, I park my car where I can keep an eye on it. HaHa, welllll, it's white and I'm not sure if it's my car I see or what, lol! It's buried, completely. I don't know how many more inches we're suppose to get, and I don't think I want to know. I did go shopping yesterday just in case, am I glad I did. No worries for a while anyway. Isn't this weather just plain crazy this year?

20 WOW! I wish we could get that much! I love snow. But then again if we got that much snow then they would cancel school and I hate when they do that! So maybe it's better over there than over here!

/We're getting bad weather too. I was supposed to go to a program at the library that I'm not even sure is running. I'm also not sure if I can get out of my house or my assistant can come. This winter has sucked we've gotten more snow then I can remember. As soon I finish this section of myLot posts I'm going to call the library and see if they are open.

Hi Raydeen, In recent weeks it has been below freezing a lot but today seems a lot brighter and milder here in the UK so hopefully it will start to warm up, 12 to 20 inches is a lot of snow. Hope all the animals are nice and snug out of it. Huggles. Ellie :D

I've only been one place in my life where 21 inches of snow fell in one storm. It was on the desert and it closed all the side roads for a week, we could only get out by 4 wheel drive trucks. We went around to people's houses to help get the snow off the roofs it was so heavy. I lived there 50 years and that was the only time it was that much snow, we were not prepared.

Wow that's definitely a lot more snow than we're calling for. I'm glad we've only got the little bit that we do have although some more would be nice but ONLY if that would mean classes would actually be canceled. However, since my school doesn't close for anything, I'm not sure that'd matter! Right now, we're getting some light snow and sleet that's covering the ground again and making things slick. Not to mention, everything that melted earlier today is refreezing and icing back over.

Expecting 10-15 cm last I heard but it's already piling up. I should really go out there and do some shovelling but it's still coming down.

Well. I did go out and shovel the 10 cm of snow that had already fallen. That was 7 hours ago, and it snowed all day. Safe to say we got more snow than originally predicted... I'd say at least another 15 cm, for a total of 25 cm today. (That's 10 inches, for the metricly challenged.)

Is this sorta normal weather for you...or has this been the weirdest winter that you can remember? I am finding here, on the West (Wet) coast, that were are having the most unusual, unpredictable weather! And I know it's just NOT me! My plants are totally confused, too! Whenever they are not covered with snow, or a deep frost, my hyacinths, irises, daffodils..and primulas are growing! We haven't had weather above zero since the 19th of December! Our normal weather pattern is that late January, & February is our snowfall/freezing months! This year it started mid December and is on going, having snow every week..and never above zero!Sure am hoping that this will deter the onslaught of "tent caterpillars" that if following their cycle, this will be our bad year! So glad you're back! Cheers!

It was cold and hailing off and on yesterday, but we're supposed to be in the high 40's for the next week. I heard on the news earlier that Kentucky has over 400,000 people without electricity now because of these storms. It's one thing when you can just stay home, hunker down and snuggle in...it's another thing when the electrics out, no heat, no water etc....I'm really glad at the moment to be right where I am!

Our weather is not quite as bad as yours but we are under a winter weather advisory. Ice...then snow...then ice again is what they are calling for. yay... It's a good thing I have no where to go today and my boyfriend takes the bus everywhere. Good luck and stay warm!

Because it is summer the weather here in the Philippines is hot. When coming out of their homes, all human being must have an umbrella and a water with them to prevent heatstroke. So far as far as I heard there are minimun number of cases regarding heatstroke. In this kind of weather people are finding alternative ways to just cope up with the weather . Some of them visit a beach, some stay in their houses during day break, some fits themselves to taking shower two times a day. me, I love to eat cold food like ice cream, I love to drink shakes and of course drink lots of cold water.

I'm so sorry for coming in so late. I think, it must be summer at your place now. By the way, I'm from India and it doesn't snow in this part of country.

our weather is just like yours. I love it! I will say that I don't like driving in it but by 2 this afternoon, i was looking for reasons to go out. I did venture out for a coffee and some un-needed snacks just to check it out. The roads were sketchy to be sure but i'm a good driver and it wasn't bad. I really love the snow...not sure why but I do. it's beautiful.
