do you prefer heels or flats?

Almost all my shoes, and I have about 30 pairs, are flats. I have about three pairs of heels when I think that black tie event just doesn't include flats. Although I've worn out a beautiful pair of black patent flats because at the last minute I usually change my mind about the heels. I love to be comfortable first, stylish second. I find there is a good deal of style in the flats today so why not just have it all!

Lately I prefer flat shoes, because they're more comfortable. Even though I'm still kind of short currently (only 1.60 m) I don't like high heels. It's true that they are useful sometimes, when you're in crowded spaces for example :) I use them then, because it's annoying to feel so small around everyone. And it's a matter of necessity, too, not only looks. When you go to the supermarket for example, it's useful to be as tall as possible to reach for higher shelves :) I always hated when I couldn't reach for what I needed to lol Also yeah, they're very bad for your back so I can't wear them for long.

I like flats because they are comfortable and I can put them in my purse. Heel are nice but I can't wear them for too long.

i prefer flats - my feet always hurt when i wear heels so i rarely wear them. Theyre so pretty though.

Hello henahuda, I am in favour of flats as heels casue pain when I walk longer. To me comfort gets higher priority than style. Enduring pain is the last thing I would like. My uric asid levels are already on higher side. So I try to avoid extra pain. Flats give me comfort and I have not to bother even if I have to walk long. So I have given up heels altogether. I use flats every day. First because my univeristy has many stairs, i must go up and down the hills to reach my classes, and flats help me to move around quickly. Second, flats is easy to use and keep longer, for me the durability is always better. But I will use heels in formal occasions and go out it's because heels look more formal than flats. I think, heels make woman look taller and feel sexy as well.That's why many woman like flats even they hurt their toes.

I prefer flats as it make me feel comfortable and besides flats are very flexible. I can use it everywhere and very convenient. I only used heels when its needed in occasions or work but in ordinary day i wear flats because it is very casual and fresh. It doesn't give me pain on my legs and it is very nice to wear.

i love wearing heels! but basically i wear heels when i go to work or if there's any special function outside. if not i'll just settle with flats

Hi there henahuda! I wear shoes that would go well with my outfit. Moreover, I consider the occasion. I would definitely feel more comfortable wearing flats. However, when going to work, I need to wear shoes with heels. On my way to work, I wear flats as I drive myself to work. I would then change into my heels when at the office. Change into my flats again when I go home in the afternoon or early in the evening. On ordinary days, I would go for flats or sneakers.

I prefer to wear flats any day compared to heels. I wear heels only when I have to go to some party or social gathering. I simply can not carry myself in the heels. They are so damn uncomfortable. You can not stand in them for long as they are so uncomfortable. Also, they distort your figure o I tend to avoid heels in regular wear

This is such a great discussion, I for one own a pair of flats and I do have a pair of heels but I don't wear them unless there is a wedding. But do note that I have a pair of boots that have big wood heels on them. But I would not call them heels because they are boots.So I am not sure what you would call them. But If I was to wear anything that has heels I would go for the boots because they cover my feet. But I have to wear flats the most because where I live is such a small town with the population of about 6000 people. So my family walks a lot because it is such a small town that you know where every store is at and such stuff like that. But I do like both my flats and heeled boots. Happy Mylotting

hey,hiii ,,,, i only prefer flats as it is so comfortable to walk with run with,and for my body it is also perect and i wil never compromise for ma health,and, people i tell you one fact about high heels ,,,, it does not only cause pains in toes and it is not nice for your backbone also,,,, and people who wear high heels ,,, are reportedly shown,,,, more fat aacumulation and bulging out of buttocks and this is a study done and it is been prove,,,,,, there is one solution ,,,, to all people in mylot,,,and spread this also,,,, wear flats and that also fancy one so that ur happy at ur health and style too,,,,, regards

I like to wear flats a lot. Especially if I just need to run out to check the mail or something of the sort. I used to own a lot of high heels but I never really had much of an occasion to wear them, so I donated them to my college's yardsale. I really hope they found good owners. Hee hee. There was a pair of black leather boots that I really liked. All gone. :( Oh well, sometime when I'm in town I will try to look for another pair to go with this brand new dress I bought the other day.

thats sounds kinda like me i love wearing heels i would wear them all the time if i could..but its a killer when you have to wear them for a long time or long distances..but i think i would prefer to wear heels if they didnt hurt so much so its either im wearing heels or sandals i think those are my favorite kinds of shoes to wear..unless im exercising then i wear sneakers. haha.

Anytime flats...i wear heels only when attending wedding parties and thats very occasionally...i go for comfort and thats all

When I was younger, and perhaps a bit more vain, I would sometimes wear heels. But then I realized that just to try and look sexy I was destroying my feet. Stupid. So I got rid of all of them. I don't own a pair of heels at all. I wear sandals or tennis shoes and don't care what anyone else things. At least my feet won't be deformed by a lifetime of wearing shoes our feet weren't designed to wear.

i can use both but not on regular basis. alternately i can use with heels and flat shoes. its hard to use it regularly coz its painful on legs if i will be using with heels for 3 days.

i like the way i look and the way i walk in heels, but i have knee problems and am much more comfortable wearing flats. it's hard, though, having pants for heels and pants for flats, especially when they're jeans! i have accumulated so many pairs of jeans, just to accommodate the heel heights of my shoes (you know, needing a dark wash for both heels and flats, a light was for both heels and flats, etc...) sigh... what is a woman to do?! haha

I really like heels but they do hurt wearing them for to long. it's nice to wear heels once in awhile. but i would have to say flats are my favorite. there are so many diffrent styles now and you could wear flats with almost anything. they are so cute and you are not killing your feet. flats are really in for this year just like last year.
