From my childhood what I have done in my life ,always there is a big role of my father.Obviously it is need less to say that every person in this world has an impact of their father in their life. But I consider him as my idol.
I think what I have learned in my entire life that is from my father.I was very much mischievous in my childhood,I used to make lot of trouble. But I have never received any rebuke for that from my father.Every time he used to come to me and made me understand What I have done that is wrong. But he never lost his composure .
I have seen that many of my friends have different idol apart from their father.
What about you?Who is your idol?

same as you, father (and my mom as well). I like the way they educate me and manage my family. I like the way they teach me the meaning of this life. Well, they are not always right about someting but I believe that they know me more than my self. I feel mazing about mom's feelings, when I fall in love, or get hurt she will know it althouh I will keep silent if she asks me. Hopefully I can learn from them, the meaning of love, family, and the meaning of this life. My idol almost teach me everything not only by words but also by the manners in their daily life.Because of that, my mom and dad are always my idol.

wow.you have raised a good discussion. But I have a different opinion from you.I am cricket crazy. My idol is the great Indian captain Md.azharuddin.I like him more than anything else.I can still remember that only to watch his batting I skipped my eighth class final math exam.Though I got promoted that year but you can understand how crazy I am.

i like people who's heart is humble....i got several friends
but most of my closest friend are fortunate in life, i asked
them as to why they choose me as their friend, wherein infact
my status is not the same as them..i'm poor and their are
rich..and they told.it's not me who have wealth in life, but
my parents...my friend even just told me that we are just the
same..and she shares her things to me...she is not selfish..i
like her very much..i got a true friend from her..She's a
blessing from above...

My parents are my idol. Hardworking , always fighting with life difficulties and so caring. I am also a hard worker like my parents.

I stopped idolizing people as they just disappoint me anyways. I certainly wouldn't have my father or mother as an idol as they left me and 3 brothers standing on the sidewalk when I was 5 to wait for the children's aid society to pick us up because they didn't have the guts to face them with us.
Even through the church the leaders disappoint me because they follow more of what the people want than what God has planned out in the bible.
I think I will just try to live my life treating others the way I would like to be treated and leave it at that.

My father would be the first choice as well for my childhood idol. If I were to say who had the most impact on my life ater my dad, it would be an old flame of mine. While we didn't marry, he showed me that nothing is more important in life than being true to yourself. A lesson of love that I've carried with me for over thirty years.

One of my idols is my mother for being always so strong and a real fighter. She was very poor when young, suffered starvation and had to start working very soon. She could not study and always fought for me and the rest of the family to have the best she could give to us in everything from education to clothes and food.

I have different idols in different periods of my life. For example, when i was a little kid, I thought that a policeman is the greatest hero in the world. And a little older, I adored the scientist very much..... Of course, my father was my idol once upon a time. I think there are a lot of people are just like me. Our idols will change with the growth of ourselves.
Um, enjoy yourself in mylot.

Myself is my idol. I don't have an idol. I don't think we need to have a rolemodel to make good decisons. I am my own rolemodel. Like people say be yourself. I am myself and nobody can change that. True I've had inspiration like my mom and dad who's taught me so much but I really don't have a idol. Just myself!
