What would you do if your cellphone fell in the toilet?

Well, we drop a lot of things from time to time. I have this funny experience of dropping my wallet in a public toilet and I really picked it up. My cards and bills were wet but they could still be used. I threw the wallet afterwards. Unexpected things might happen. What if the same carelessness happened to your cellphone? Would you pick it up or just flush it away?

I think I would get it out of the water, thank goodness this hasnt happened to me...LOL but I think I would get it out, of course it would no longer work since they dont work well after they get wet, my mom dropped hers in the sink in the kitchen as she was holding her cellphone because she just hung up and was reachng for something and dropped it in with the dishes....LOL and it fizzed and popped. she had to get a new phone, but at least it wasnt the toilet....LOL

lol. Your mom is luckier. She knows it's just water and detergent her hands are getting into.

Ooops this is just what happened to my friend. Her cellphone fell in toilet but she picked it up and cleaned it. But then she couldnt use it and had to get it repaired but is still having some problems with the mobile. I think the sound has been affected. She cant play songs and videos and cant even hear it ringing

I will pick up my Cell phone as quickly as possible and later on use a lot of soap to clean up my hands. A similar incident took place with my friend when he took his cell phone in the toilet as he was on a call and accidently dropped in in the comod. He picked it up the very next moment before the water could do a lot of damage to it.

ohhhh I have no idea! Interesting question though. I feel like this is such an unfortunate thing to happen. I'm so afraid of pathogenic bacteria, I will probably let my cellphone die there haha OR I will get the sim with a hand cellophane on so I won't get contaminated then that's it.

I would just leave it in there. The cell phones never work right after they get wet anyway, so I would just go buy a new one.

Of course I would pick it up! Even if it is yucky! Well I could always wash my hand and scrub it but I can't always buy a new phone. But of course prevention is always better than cure so better not to bring anything when you go to the bathroom. I never bring anything with me except tissue. Thanks my husband is always taking things from me like wallet and cellphone when we are shopping and I ask him that I need to go to the bathroom. Always be very careful and in case you are alone, then better put all things in your bag first before entering the toilet. Or if you don't have bag just secure things first you can put them inside your deep pocket. If you still don't have pocket and you are holding things with your bare hands then better put them down the floor. Just get more tissue to use are carpet for your things because some comfort rooms may have little dirt on the floor.

I guess you are right. Some accidents are waiting to happen so we have to be more careful and anticipate potential dangers.

That would really be a disaster. I think I would pick it up and hope for the best. Cellphones are expensive so I do not want to have anything happen to do it. I like to have my cell and my husbnd really wants me to have a cell so I think he would go out and get one for me. I would not want to lose it though that's for sure.
