I need your help

I want to start my own blog but I don't know where to begin. My son was just accepted to a sports program with 365 Sports, where he will travel to Switzerland this summer to play basketball and represent the United States and our hometown. 
I would like to start a blog so I can make some money to help him get there and to have spending money while he is there. Where do I need to go to begin a blog? I would preferably like a site that pays for blogging? This would help me to get the money needed to send him. Any help is appreciated. I hope to get the blog going next Monday while I am off work and will start a discussion here once I get it going.

Well if you are new to blogging than I would start with blogger.com. Reason being because it has very easy tools to use. Also there is another site that comes to my mind and that is today.com but see you have to get approved to blog there. That is why I say blogger is a great place to start. I hope I helped you in some way and happy mylotting as well.

Hi. i am with blogger dot com. it is a great site to start your blog. All you have to do is go to the site, which i mentioned earlier. then register.
It is really a big help if you have a blog. you get to post your feelings and of course get to post your success in different sites. Do not be afraid to try. we are here to support you.

I started a Blog but haven't done anything with it yet. I am going to try really hard to get it going this weekend and hopefully we can make some money that way. We have until the beginning of March before we need to make our next payment on the cost of the trip. But he will also need spending money for the trip. This is a great opportunity and I am so proud of him, as he was chosen for this opportunity. It's not something everyone gets to do.

You should have probably stated this discussion on blogger. Most of the people there could tell you what to do. I have not found it very easy to make money blogging. i got discouraged with it. In most cases you have to have had your blog for a few months before you can even begin to make money. I would check out the blog discussion on here for tips.
