Help, I Need Help! Who Would You Call...

A relative or a friend?
When there are emergencies, of course, that will be my neighbor friends. My neighbors are so easy to call to help me with difficult situations 24/7. Always, they would gladly help.
But, when the help i need is more on matters like money and/or attention which can take longer times, i will have to turn to my relatives. They are the ones who will oblige themselves without me feeling so ashamed of having taken much of their time away from their usual tasks and of having them of their money, too. lol...
How about you, how do you cope with these unforeseen situations? Turn to a relative or a friend?

Hi trinidadvelasco! Although we never had any emergency yet, I know very well that I can rely with my neighbors for help 24/7. We do have a good relationship with the neighbors and I am very happy and secured with them. But just like you, on other matters such as financial or personal issues, I will first solicit help from family.
Take care and have a great day!

i am living in kind of joint family, sister in law staying down-stairs, and so i haven't felt lonely in emergency situations, and financially also, my hubby has never let me feel lacking of anything, he earns well, but that doesn't mean that i have not seen hard situations and people suffering from it, its very hard to face such situations, some of my relatives come to us, as my hubby is kind enough and famous for helping in neighbourhood as well as relatives, so i see many people, having many problems, someone suffering from some disease and no money to cure and many many such problems....i pray to God that may everyonr br happy and never give hardships to anyone in life.

it is good that you have a good and kind husband. it is even much better that he provides perfectly for the family.
i can see that your in laws are kind people, too. how lucky can you get, eshaan. may you be continuously blessed with all the good things in life.

My inlaws and my parents - they are always there when we need anything especially for our son. Even though they live many hours away or shall I say on the other side of the world, they are just a phone call away. We don't like to rely on family for help but if we needed to, I know my inlaws first, then my parents, will be there for us.
For babysitting help I have a friend that helps out from time to time and my neighbor downstairs often helps me out when I need an egg or two, some sugar or something. I always return the favor too.

I know I can always call on my mother and my sister in particular. These are persons who have never let medown wehn it comes to personal matters. My smaller brother has proved to be more unreliable and more selfish. He knows he can rely on me for help but the reciprocal of that is raraely true.
I can count on the few friends that I can count on in emegency situations

isn't it comforting enough to know that there are some persons that we can count on at all times, my friend? actually, this is the reason why we want our close relatives to be around us at all times.

I have a very good neighbor, who live next door to ours. We are in similar age, and all retired, with one son, who live away from us. We help each other, and I am greatly benefited from her help. She helped me with whatever she could, and her man was an engineer, capable of home appliance repairs, digital games, etc.
Every time, my grandson visits us, he will stay longer in their home, watching tv, having chats, playing games, being back only for meals and sleep.
Once, my washing machine was broken down, water flowing all over without notice until down to the sitting room. What disaster, they helped immediately to clear up, moving furnitures, checking the electricity, whatever. We really cannot do without their help.
In emmergent cases, neighbors are at our firt aid much more effectively than relatives.

My best friend in the world is like a brother to me and well I have a twin brother who is always around and goes through the same thing as me. I would go to them with anything and I know they would help me just like I would help them we are all best friends and are the same age, I'm very glad that I have them to always be there for me even more than my parents or any of my other friends they will always be there.

Most of my relatives live hours away so calling them would not do me much good. I'm better off calling my friends who live close enough by to do something if I ever get into a jam. I'm lucky to have good friends.

if our relatives live far from our homes, we have to have good neighbor friends. we can always rely upon them for the most needed help.

I have family all around me...a daughter nextdoor and my husband's relatives on the next block. I also have three other grown children and my husband so, if I need help with most things, I have many people here to turn to. When it comes to emotional issues though...if I'm upset with someone or just feeling down or frustrated...I turn to my best friend who lives 1,000 miles away. We can always count on each other...day or night...for as long as it takes.

my dear friend, spalladino, how lucky can you get. having all those relatives, very close at that, nearby means security and peace.
yes, we always turn to the bestfriend when it comes to those matters. i don't know why but, we trust the bestfriend only, when it comes to talking about the very deep feelings and emotions that overcome us.

I have one relative I could turn to for money situations, but it's one of those relatives I hate to ask anything for! Other wise for anything else I really don't have anyone to ask for help. I am on my own and need to do things for myself.

it must be difficult for you coping with life this way, messageme. at one time or another, there are some thoughts and experiences that we need to share with others. then also, emergencies may come about. i really hope that you can find good friends around you among the folks there.
