is using adsense really can earn money? i got 500 visitor today but only 2 click

as the subject of discussion, i just setup my google adsense account.
and for today i got 500 more visitors to one of my blogs but sadly only two of them click the ads.
how can i really earn this way?
anybody use adsense and earning well?
if you do earning well from adsense, how did you that?
