Girl friend who i thought understood me but now blames for ruining her life

Hi all, i had to leave my girl friedn for my family, recently.She thinks that i dumped her or ditched her.But what happened was my parents wanna marry me to a girl in the same religion.So i told her all my problems and she agreed.BUt after 1 week, she started calling me and getting mad at me saying that i ditched her.I didnt wanna leave her.But now she is maling me like i am bad guy and i ruined her life... is that correct?(also her parents was not ready to marry her to me)

You shouldn't let your parents control your life. They can't tell you who to love and who to marry. If you love this girl, you should be with her. To your parents, all they should care about is your happiness. If you care about this girl, then let your parents know that. Religion ruins alot of relationships and friendships, but that shouldn't be what matters in a relationship. My boyfriend and I have different religions, and it never affects us. We both know we're happy no matter who we are.
