When you get your heart broken how long does it take to get over the pain?
What do you do to get over a broken heart?
Is it better to just talk to someone new?
The best way to get over a man is to get under a new one.....

if it's a broken heart to the event of splitting up with someone i think you can get over with the person in the soonest possible time, someone will knock into your door even if you closed it for a new relationship. it's just a traumatic relationship and that person that will knock into your door will hear that broken heart of yours.
but when talking about getting over the pain and being hurt by losing someone and in this case that someone had passed away, it's a very different kind of getting over. it's a different approach, it'll take a long month or even years before getting over that person or worst that someone that is left behind hanging will closed the doors to love again for a lifetime. that's the saddest part. and i am into that.
i don't know if i will be able to love the same way around for another person. the way i did for my departed Samantha.

It takes a year i guess to get over the pain. I go out with my friends to divert my attention and not think of the hurtful things that happened to me. I ask for some advices on my friends to get me to move on. Some of them advices me to go out on a date with someone. It did help but sometimes if you really rush things up. Just to forget the pain, it never helps. All i can say is just take it slow and as all they say time heals all the wounds.

The way I got over my last relationship was actually meeting someone new. I didn't want to spend my days depressed and sad over a relationship that didn't work, so when I met someone I was interested in and had feelings for, I went for it. I wanted to see what could be and I am so happy right now.

A broken heart needs much time. When happens, appear never i'll have a cure. But time bring another things, and you have to let this things to distract you. If, in these things appear a man who wants to help you and the time, good! And will come a day, you just will remember your suffering like a past and painless thing ;D
( I thing one of best things to get over a man it's really to get under a new one)=D

It's always good to spend time with family. Jumping immediately into a new relationship or going out to find a new guy right away, doesn't always work out good. Since you had just got out of a relationship, a lot of times you will find the new guy, annoying, and clingy. It's happened to me often, and I realized I should just wait. Having your heart broken though, is a hard thing to deal with. Having girl friends/or guy friends, is always a good thing during that time. To talk to them about what had happened. And knowing you do have people who care about you.
