Do you think it is worth it?

So I am taking an online course for my degree requirements. The course is freshman seminar, which in my opinion is pretty pointless. Well I was being really stupid and didnt realize we have assignments every week and the teacher won't accept late ones. Without these assignments I can not get an A in the class. So far, for the last two quarters of school, I have straight A's, a 4.0 average and am on the Deans List. Do you think it would be okay to drop the class and try again so I can get an A, so I dont ruin my 4.0? It will cost me about half of the money I paid for the class in the first place, which is about 90 dollars, and then I would also have to pay another 180 again for next quarters class? Has anything like this ever happened to you? What do you think would be the best way to handle this situation? Any help appreciated.

I would drop the class. If you have the extra cash to spend on it, I think it would be a much better idea to just start over than to ruin a perfect 4.0

Thank you for the response. Luckily my parents are paying for my schooling so I will have to see which they prefer, money or my good grades, lol.

I don't know, it depends on how much money you have and time you have. I wouldn't drop it unless I were getting a D or F.
