What is the best thing that happened to/for you in 2008?

I hope you all had something really good happen for you in 2008. For me it is hard to say which is the best.
I would have to say that the best thing in 2008 for me was when my best friend had her baby. A lot of the doctors that she had seen said that she would not be able to get pregnant and now, she is a proud mom of a little healthy girl. :D It just makes me so happy to know that she finally got her wish. She loves kids and babies and she is great with them.

I had two new granddaughters born in 2008 so it was a good year for me in that area...especially considering that I only had grandsons down here until then. Now we get to see girly stuff! I was laid off from my job late in 2008, which was a good thing, believe it or not, because I wasn't happy there, and being free from the constraints of the 8 to 5 lifestyle gave my husband and me the opportunity to take a step in a new direction and open our own store. Need any motorcycle parts, tee shirts or bling?

Congrats on the granddaughters. I am happy for you. :) I have three kids also, 2 girls and a boy and I am an only child so my mom was very happy to be a grandma.
Do you have a site for your store? Can never have to much bling :D

The best thing to happen to me in 2008 was that I had my beautiful baby boy!! He was born on May 6!! I also couldn't go back to work having my son at a daycare with someone I don't know so I quit my job! Then on August 19 my nephew was born! Busy year huh?! lol

2008 was indeed a very great year for me. There are a lots of things wonderful things that happened to me. First is when I graduated in college. Second, I passed the board examination.
Well there so much I want to achieve this year 2009 and I will work hard to reach such. I hope that God will guide me and always teach me the right way I should be taking and he will lead me on every decisions that I will be making!
