Forgive me for poking a little fun at a fellow myLotter, but I just noticed that the same person posted two discussions on the topic of perfume, specifically what's your favorite. poke poke poke So how much effort do you put into being original or do you just post what's on your mind no matter what it is?

I like posting quality discussions - that is why I have not posted many and usually just comment on discussions

I probably do too many, but I do try to be original.

Hi dawn, I do post what I think to be interesting topics or about something that has happened to me but I don't get many responses. Thinks: *do they think that I am boring? Or so last century?*I think that I am better at responding than posting. Blessings

Yep there are a lot of them that are similar. Some of them are just different enough to be interesting though.

When I start a discussion, it could have been sparked by a recent incident in my uninteresting life. I do try to relate a simple story behind the question asked, that should add a little originality to the discussion itself. As far as possible, I try to avoid overly talked about discussions.

I try to do the same. Sometimes I see a discussion and it gives me an idea for a related (but not the same) discussion...

Hi ya dawny Well I do quite often start discussions on what is on my mind but I do try and take an original angle at it if I think it might have been discussed before which more than likely it has!

And as far as I'm concerned, if it's a new angle on it, it's original enough, even if something very similar has been discussed many times.

lol... I guess it is indicative that the second question was posted with the "make extra money" tag.. :p Well, at times people may be posting things that have already been posted, but with so many questions being posted every day, I guess it is hard for someome to keep track as to what has been posted and when. But if the same person makes the same question again and again, I guess that sooner or later he would be banned from mylot anyway...

Yep I saw the tag, figured it had something to do with the almighty dollar!
