hi all!
alright, this is a sensitive topic, because i am actually asking about underwear. do you handwash each and every piece of your underwear or do you toss them all in the washer like the rest of your laundry?
as for me, i feel that the underwear is mostly made of fragile fabric. at the same time, it has special stains and smell, especially that of women's. so i would painstakingly, like scrubbing if i need to, wash each one of them and hang them up to dry. i just don't like it mixing with the rest of the laundry.
how about you? do you give special attention to your underwear when washing them? or it goes with the rest of your clothes to the washer?
thanks for sharing your "intimate" secret. lol
take care all and God bless you!
happy mylotting! :-)

I actually throw all of my underwear in to wash with the rest of my clothing. I'm not big on hand washing items unless I really need something and can not wait until the end of the week to wash clothes. I've hand washed bras on a few occasions and hung them to dry when they were dirty and I really needed one, but otherwise, everything gets washed together. My underwear, socks, shirts get washed in one load while I was my jeans separately.

I do not put my undies in the washer. I usually wash it by hand piece by piece. You are right, undies should be wash separately to rake out the dirt that washing machine ca not do. Also the white socks? I always wass it by hand, scrub before putting in in the washer. But the undies? I never put them in the washer. I wash and hanged it or i will put it together of the rest in the dryer.

Nope. It goes in with the rest of the washing. I don't have time to hand wash. I do drip dry my delicate stuff and hang out without spinning but that's about it. I am guilty of using the drier too much too, I hate it but I just don't have enough time!

I think I wash my underwear using my hands. You are right, underwear is fragile. I really don't want to ruin my underwear because I usually purchase a bit expensive ones, and it usually said in the instruction image that no machine wash allowed. Handwashing the underwear has been my habit, and I like doing it. I always wash the underwear after taking a bath, therefore it takes me somewhat long time spending in the bathroom

I wash mine in the machine. I used to handwash them, but I just got tired of it. Most of them don't get dried in the dryer though and I make sure that nothing with a zipper is washed in with the rest of my clothes.

i throw them all in the wash - usually i have enough socks and underwear that i just make a huge load of all of them at once, regardless of color. there are instances where i prefer to hand wash (special pairs, etc), but mainly, i take advantage of our modern appliances!

The only "underwear" I've ever hand washed was the really nice lingere that didn't stay on long. ha ha. I don't wear silky or delicate underwear. I like the more comfortable stuff...just give me plain cotton bikinis, thank you.
Now when I just don't feel like taking the extra time to handwash my delicates I use cold water and the hand wash setting on my washer. I don't know if your machine has that setting, but it works great. That gentle cycle and some woolite or baby laundry detergent is the best mix.
As far as feeling weird about my underwear being washed with my other clothes...no, I don't care about that at all. To me that's kind of like thinking "well, I dried my butt with this towel, so I'll wash it by itself." If that's your quirk then that's ok, but if you're looking to save time and effort, toss those babies in the machine! They will come out nice and fresh and not ruined.

I exactly did what you did; washing all my underwears by myself through hand washing. I did it eversince and never put them into the washing machine w/ the rest of my other clothing. I am also using bar soap for them and not the usual detergent as am thinking they are mild for fabrics like them. One time I was at work and my husband was trying to do me a favor by washing my undies in the washer when he was doing the laundry, only to find out I was so dismayed and frustrated instead of being happy and thankful for the "favor". I explained him why and from then he never cared to wash them anymore.

Mine are hand washed. Underwear is not only fragile but small. So it´s not the case to put on a washing machine. We have a washing machine at home, but takes so much energy to use it (it´s 10 kg) that my mother prefers to pay someone to wash our clothes. It´s less expensive.

I put my everday undies in the wash with everything else. For my monthly undies, I rinse them in the sink by hand then throw them in the wash. My fragile stuff, I put in a pillow cover that has a zipper, then I throw that in the wash, on delicate. This seems to help. Without the case, the lace gets caught up and rips, the straps get tangled and stretch out... it's a mess!

I am not into the hand washing, everything gets thrown into the washing machine for me... I dont spend alot of money on them so for me I dont have that problem, I get the cotton ones on sale 3 for 10.00....etc, so I really dont have a problem with throwing my things into the wash, if I had more of expensive ones then I think I would pay more attention to them.
