What in the world are you supposed to do when EVERYONE expects you to take care of someone, and they won't cooperate? Can you help someone who won't help themself, even if it is literally a matter of life and death? Do you agree that the definition of STUPIDITY is doing the same thing that failed before, and expect different results? What if everyone blames you when that person does really ignorant things, even though they are a grown-up.
In case you can't tell, I am about at the end of my rope - again. Not that I was ever allowed to get very far away from the end.

Sounds like you know my soon to be ex-husband. lol. What you need to do is take a deep breath. You cannot help those who will not be helped. And don't let others who don't really know anything about the situation make you feel guilty about something you have no control over. If you have offered this person help and they will not take it, there is really nothing else you can do.

Thanks for the support. I don't know if he will be EX, but he may not be around for much longer if he keeps making the decisions he has been making.
