hello all of my friend's here at Mylot.
prayers are needed in my corner of the world tonight. my Dad has been back in the hospital now for a week. he had a mini stroke and the stroke paralazed his vocal cords. the Doctor's performed a trechotomy on him. (i hope that i spelt that correctly) anyways, he was released to go home two days ago, that didn't happen, yesterday his potassium level fell really low and they had to give him some potassium through his iv's. today, the Doctor came in and put in his voice box for him through his trechotomy. the Nurse later on this afternoon came in today and gave him a breathing test...he fainted on her. so the Doctor on call at the hospital this afternoon said that he was going to do an ultrasound on him tonight and check out his heart to see if he has an irregular heart beat or something like that. so i haven't worked in a week now, i have been at the hospital everyday that my Dad has been there except for yesterday, i was sick all day long yesterday and layed in the bed. i didn't want to get around my Dad and get him any sicker than he is.
so please, let us all hold hands and pray for my Dad.

Dear heavenly father we come to you with heavy hearts as we ask for an improvement in both this father and my husband. Please give the doctors the knowledge in finding out these health issues and bring our loved ones home to our families. Watch over us lord and minister to our men that they may know your forgiving and healing ways. We ask this in Jesus name. Amen.
While praying for my husband I will include your father also. All the best my dear friend.

thanks. i am exhausted. and i know that my Dad is. i do not know how much more that my Dad can take here on this earth. i love him so so much tamara it hurts me. i am about to break down again tonight. i cannot sleep in fear that the phone is going to ring and be more bad news. thanks for the prayers and your support.

thanks so much for your prayers. i spent the day again today at the hospital with my Dad. the doctor's are saying again today that he'll get to go home in the morning. sure hope that he has a good night tonight. thanks for the response.

I am really sorry for you and for you daddy. I lost my daddy one month before I be born so never had the chance to meet him. And I know a bit how you must be feeling right now scared of loosing your daddy. I really wish all the best for you both and that soon he will be home feeling much better. I just said a prayer for all of you. Its such a scary thing to have someone you love in the hospital like that. You did the right thing in asking for prayer from all of us. I have done it a few times, prayer works, plus its a good feeling that many people from all over are praying for you. Take care, and please keep us posted.

it took me a week to post this discussion about my Dad. carol, i do not know how much more my Dad can take here on this earth. he turned 79 last October. i love my Dad so much that it hurts. i am about to break down tonight again. i cannot help it. i just wish that my Dad was out of his pain. and i wish that my Dad was home tonight in his own bed as well. thanks for your prayers and support.

i am stressed out to the max tonight man. i do not know how much longer that i can hold up for my Dad. i love him so so much that it hurts. i cried the other night like a baby, i couldn't help it. and thanks for your kind words. i will try to stay strong for my Dad.

I have a young friend who is in the hospital now for blood clots, this is about the third time for him and he is really having a time of it.. So many people are having so many problems but each one is as important as the others.. The only thing that we can do is to trust in God for the answers and for the strength to get through these tough times.. God Bless you and I will pray for you and your dad..

thanks so much. i sure hope that my Dad is going to be ok. i do not know how much more that my Dad can stand to happen to him. he just turned 79 years old last October and he isn't a spring chicken anymore. and i thought that i was strong but i love my Dad so much and as day after day goes by, i find it hard to hold up.

I will keep your father in my prayers. I know what you and your father are going through.
My father was admitted into the hospital two weeks ago. He suffered a mild heart attack after shoveling snow. They did an angioplasty, and we thought that was it. He then was not able to swallow, without a gurgling sound happening. He has become so agitated because he can not eat. they had to restrain him, because he wants to leave and is pulling tubes out etc. they finally said that he has a cyst on his esophagus, and as soon as he is strong enough they will remove it, then hopefully he will be able to eat again without problems.
My mother is not well either, and the hospital is quite a ways away. My mother was depending on my brother to take her, but he was admitted into the hospital on Sunday.
I do not have transportation either.
this is really a stressful time.
Please pray for my father and brother as well. I hope your father gets well soon.

I just read about your father's ill health through your posting here. I will also commit your father's recovery in my prayers together with Rhonda's father and family members. I pray for God's healing for him, and also that your mum will get the best treatment for her health problems, and that she will get the necessary transportation to and from the hospital. It's stressful and a burden for the family when members have a major health problem. I hope that despite the situation, you and other members of the family can find comfort, relieve and assurance knowing that God is watching over you all. My heart goes out to you and your family. I am sorry to hear about what is happening to your father. A Mylot friend, Lexus made me aware of this discussion and even though I am not on Mylot that much it is always a blessing when we can reach out and offer love, light and support to those in need.
