How common is false pregnancy in dogs?

I have been suspecting that my rottie is pregnant but yesterday I read an article about false pregnancy so I suddenly became worried. I know the only way to find out is going to a vet but she's already on her 59th day and I have decided to just wait since I have experience in whelping. My dog has been very cranky and her nipples are bigger, her rib cage seems alot wider but not so big. Has anyone here already experienced their dogs having false pregnancy?

I never had a dog before but i think your dog is pregneant. Or you should check on the interent to make sure. Then go to the vet and see. That way, you won't make a mad mistake!

It's a phantom pregnancy :( We were all frustrated. She even went into a fake labor! Well, I still love my dog. Maybe I'll have her spayed since she is susceptible to mastitis which is common to dogs who have false pregnancies...
