Deduction from earnings?

Hi bamrahkirti :) I think it's great that you're finding myLot so beneficial for your English writing skills. It's a bonus, isn't it, to have that happen on a site where you already enjoy participating? You may sometimes find a decrease in your earnings if you happened to have posted in a discussion that was removed for a guideline violation. It doesn't mean that you, personally, posted a violation... it would just happen to anyone that had posts in that conversation :) Hope that helps!

Hello Bamrahkriti and welcome to myLot. I have been keep and daily record of my posting and earning for the last few months now. Every now and then My record will show a change. Sometimes it gos up and once in a while it will go down.Yes sometimes a discussion I responded to does get deleted but some times it just an adjustment too. I will look back and see some day the earning will go up and maybe the nest days record will go down a penny or two. So I think that every so often there is as I said just an adjustment. As long as your earning keep going up for the most part don't worry about it and stay away from money making discussions that give links because they will be deleted sooner or later. keep going back and checking the guide lines.

Hi! I have been a member here in mylot for more than a year. Like your reason I also visit this site so I can practice my english and the earnings is already a plus. And for many times, based on my observation I have also encountered when my earnings will lower from the previous. This is because some responses was deleted or topics have been deleted. I don't know if someone will rate our response with a negative will also lower the money we earned.

Me too I don't understandthe decrease, yesterday I posted less than tem but I received one cent for my earniongs. I'm only 38 cents away from the mininum payout so am excited to see now being closer to the pay out hehe but I earned one cent. Or I just missed the cut off for the submission yesterday. hehehe, hope so...

It was deducted coz one of your participation was deleted.. It's either your discussion or your replies on a deleted discussions. It happened often here. If a discussion is against the TOS, it would be better to leave it and do not reply. Just ignore it as if it doesn't exist so it wont harm your earnings here..

Well i am as new to mylot as you and i enjoy sharing my opinions here on mylot ..The money we earn is just like a bonus ..i am also hope to make the minimum payout by the next month...Sometimes there's a decrease in your earnings because either one of your started discussions or one of your responses violate some terms of mylot and that very discussion gets removed ..and i can tell you that because it has happened to me..so be careful what you write...

I think your earnings will go back up tomorrow. You just have to be patient. Sometimes the system adjusts itself and earnings can fluctuate up to a dollar. But this is not something unusual. You just have to wait for it to go back to the right dollar amount. :) You just happened to notice this now because you only have a little in your account, but once you make your first dollar, the incremental changes wouldn't be so bothersome.

I have had a reduction of 0.16 for a few posts that had violated guidelines when I first joined before I was aware of the guidelines.It happens just try to be aware of the guidelines and avoid violating any part of it.

Its good to hear good things about mylot. Yeah i agree its one of the best social networking site which also pays us. I am coming to know alot about different people around the world. The reason why your earning could be deducted is that you must not have followed mylto rules. If you paste any link in your discussion your discussion is deleted after few days. The number in the bracket is the number of discussions you have posted to. If you post a post which goes against the rules it will be deleted and the earning will reduce.

It is due to violation of guidelines. I also lost about 0.02$ when i was a newbie and not familiar with guidelines

Join the crowd. LOL. I have spent the last 2 days not able to log in says my account was inactive???? Then I log in today and all my earnings are gone?? Back down to 1.61 from 6.69?? not sure whats going on but dang. LOL. At least my posts are not starting over lol.

well i have been reading alot of complains on mylot nowadays and it seems nobody is doing something about it but i suggest you write mylot letting them know your complains and i'm sure something should be don about it

it has happened to many mylotters. there isn't any explanation for this on mylot.com. there should be information for mylotters telling them how they can earn more , when money can be deducted from thier earnings, etc, etc Questions like these are asked many times by many mylotters, therefore mylot should sort out the problem soon by making clear rules for everything.

hii bamrahkirti.good posting about mylot.This is really great.I haven't seen such a legitmate site up to such.This is really awesome.Up to now my highest earnings is $0.44.I haven't experienced deduction of my earnings.My earnings is rising daily.i had seen a post about mylot.That is posting Links in the discussions is provibited in the mylot,such as referal links and the links of some websites these are all probited here.These kinds of discussions are deleted after a while.If we responded to these kind of discussions at that instant our earnings will be credited and then after some time that after few days this discussion will be deleted by admin and our earnings are also deducted. I think this is the reason for your earnings deduction. happy mylotting...

At the end of each month Mylot does some 'housekeeping' sweeping away some rubbish that may not agree with their TOS. Sometimes members get banned for repeated violations and then their earnings go into the 'pot' and shared out to members. When this happens your earnings can go up not down. Once the last day of the month comes then all will settle down again. Mylot really does pay. I have been paid 17 times here - no problem. I wish I could say the same about many sites on the Net!
