How to make e-book?

I just want to make my own e-book. What are the things needed? what are the steps. Where should I go. Or is there any program that I must install on my PC? Please help me.

If you go to youtube and type in - how to write a ebook you will find a plethora of videos about it. If I could copy and past I would have pasted some for you here - I am almost at 500 tho...
