Pietersen gets more than Flintoff in IPL. Why?

Pietersen has got a base price of $1.3m while Flintoff gets a price of $0.9m.
Is Pietersen a better bet than Flintoff. I consider it the other way, esp in T20. Flintoff can bowl 4 overs and smash thru as well.
But Pietersen can be a good batsman only. That too he wants to settle before hitting.
So is it a good price? Does it reflect their capabilities?

Pietersen is better player than flintoff as the latter one is not that much consistent with the bat ofcourse he may be best utilised because of his allround capabilities.

Peterson is obviously a better player than freddy (in batting). Comning to peterson's batting he is more reliable player compared to any one in England !!
T20 is not only smashing the ground out of the park its also a mind game so kevin wins the upper hand here !! Kevin peterson may get close to what Indian captain M.S dhoni gets.
Vijay maliya (banglore owner) May buy him this time !!
