are you afraid when you are all alone?

hmm. i have this.. for many days now, i am all alone in our office. i used to stay overnight and most of the times overtimes. then i would go home late at night. at around 11 pm.. then i could hear a lot of voices. then my mind would play. and my steps would hasten. not an easy feeling though. and all the while, i am used to this way. but there are really some people i know who are not comfortable when they are alone. they used to tag along someone whom they could be with during the stay. i used to bring one though, but it is not this time.. itis totally different now.. hmm.. how about you, are you afraid when you are all alone?...

Well there are really time where i get a like frighten whenever i am all alone. I know know but I got this eerie feeling that I don't know and I can't explain of. But I always ask for God's guidance and protection at this time knowing that He will be there to protect me. I just shrug off the fear knowing i got my protector at all times. thank you ms.. hmm, it seemed like you advanced already here in mylot.. hmm. with your suggestion, surely i will take it . i am a Christian. and it so happened that we also had the enemy who is always lurking at us. looking for every opportunity to scare and make us fear him when in reality, the battle had been won already by our Lord. thank you.. and happy mylotting!

thank you for the advice ms.. surely i will take it.. i am also a christian. and so bein gone, we also had the enemy who is always lurking at us. looking for every opportunity to entice and deceive us. it is not easy though. but when we get it over, we are victorious over this areas.. and fear is one of his powerful tool. but let us always remind ourselves that the battle is already won. and he stand no chance at all. ever!

I'm pretty ok as long as I'm in my wheelchair and can leave the situation. I don't like it at all if I'm in my bed and I'm by my self here. What if there's a fire? Over all I do like the hour or so when I'm alone which is me and the cat.

I have been unable to walk since birth. Got my first wheelchair at 4. I got my first power chair at 11.

sorry to hear that.. uhm, for how long had you been in your wheel chair?.. know what, i am proud of your courage. being in that chair is not easy. but as joni said, in heaven we can all run and walk. and there will be no more pain and grief. we will all be happy. and i know, many will take care of you.. fire?. well, it wont happen as long as you don't allow it too..

It's never bothered me to be alone. For one I used to be a security guard and worked plenty of night shifts by myself. I'm also not afraid to be at home by myself, at night. I do have a large breed dog, she is very protective of me and her home, so good luck to anyone that would try to come in here lol.

really? was there a super natural experience after all those years?.. i guess all the security guards has all the experience supernaturally... hehe.. and i liked the dogs protecting you. it was really good. and so right now, i get my dog immunized to really be protective and yet safe. i could not afford to pay those who would be bitten.. hmmm.

first,the issue of you hearing voices is not a good sign..but it could just be your imaginations...but as for me i'm not afraid of being alone as long as where i am is well secured against hoodlums..

hehe.. it is just a state of mind my friend. i was thinking that the voices over the building was because of those dogs there. and maybe some echoes. and that my mind started to create an image of persons or ghosts as depected on television....

really?.. but was it freaky when you are really hearing voices and sounds?.. well whatever the case, there are really some supernatural phenomenon. and that it is also in the state of mind that we hear them. and you are right too, real silence gets me freaky too..

really?.. hmm. so you are dependent with your roommates.well, it is good that you have your roommate.. but there will be really times when you will be left alone. and that, you need to move on in this case. it is not good though.. but you have to learn it..

As far as I am concerned at home I am not afraid when alone, but yes in the office, I prefer to leave when people are there as times when I am alone even a small sound startles and I lose my concentration from work. So it is better to be out before everyone goes.

we are the same. i prefer to work when there are a lot of people around.. but somehow, this persons could be the source of some nuisance and delays of the work. but it is fun though having them around. and at home, i have a lot of friends still there. and it is not easy seeing them. some are trying to avoid me, and some are those that i am trying to avoid too.. hmm. it is not easy to be doing this time. and it is really not easy..

really?.. it is nice to be alone sometimes. but not at all times. it drives me nuts either. and there are lots to be enjoyed to together with our friends and peers. but you are right, sometimes or oftentimes they are a source of nuisance and delay of our works too. hmmm

In the day time im quite happy to be alone, but at night i prefer someone to be with me and when my partner isnt here at night i cant sleep until he comes home and any little noise has me scared!

really/?. was there really a time when you have no one in your house?. or that you don't have your partner?.. or does this always happen. wherein your partner has no way of not being at home?.. hmm.. i hope you could get over that feeling friend. sometimes or oftentimes, there will be a lot of times when we need and we must be alone.. overcome your fear!

Well if being in the house or I have something to do very importantly, then I'd like to be alone by myself so I can concentrate more on what am doing. But if being in an office and so alone at night then I guess I would quite be scared a little, it happened when am entertaining scary thoughts in my mind and that's where I started feeling afraid of many things. Actually I believe it's more on a stat eof mind because when am alone at sometimes and I was concentrating on doing my thing, I noticed I didn't felt scared anyhow.

it is really more of a state of mind. thank you. what we feel is all in the brain. if we decide we are not afraid and ward off those unhealthy thoughts, then we can be free from the scary feeling of being alone. sometimes, those that we watch in television also has some great impact to our thinking.. it does..

It depends. When I go to malls, sometimes I want to be alone, to be able to concentrate on what I'm going to buy. I'm quite particular when it comes to my thing so I take considerable amount of time when buying them. So I don't bring along my husband and kids because they get wary of waiting for me. However, when it comes to going out at night, I am afraid to go alone. I'm afraid of dark places because I often see in the news some of the horrid crimes being done at night.

it takes two to tango.. hmm, we are the same. sometimes or most of the times, i prefer to go alone when buying some things. but though i like some company, but now, i guess i have to do it on my own. trying to forget the past though. when we are with someone.. hmmm. but in dark areas or in some areas, i used to tag along someone too from before. but right now, i guess i am all alone. it is not an easy thing and task to do, but it is the way it is for the moment, and i guess even for the days to come.. huhu

well, i am mostly alone all of the time as i do not have a girlfriend and most of my friends are either working or serving the army.it has already been like this for 2 years.now i rally feel uncomfortable in a large crowd of people.makes me think that maybe my personality has change.nevertheless, i will try to make more friends and be more social active.

that is good my friend. but i tell you , it would not be easy. have you ever seen something that is coming out from it's shell?.. hmm, it is not easy but then, it is rewarding. my friend, i hope all the best for you. and i am excited for your improvement. as of now, i am also trying to improve myself. with all the problems i am facing right now, it is not easy. there were a lot of pressures and a lot of things going on. it is hard to smile though, when deep inside there is something..

I'm afraid of being alone in a new or strange place or in the dark. I used to be afraid to stay home alone when I first moved in the house but now I'm getting familiar with the new house and I bought a puppy so it makes me feel better.

fear and scary feelings come only at the beginning. especially when it is your first time. i also am like that before. i used of being in a crowd. but time comes when i have to be on my own. it feels not alright. and i have a lot of scary moments too. but then, i really made it straight to not be afraid and think of some ways. though it is not easy, God has been so kind to carry me through.. and i know, in time i will be acquinted when being alone. thank you

No, I don't. In fact I enjoy being alone. As I am married and have a child. So my spare time is little since I have to spend time on work and my family. If I can be alone, I will feel so excited as I can do whatever I like and nobody will bother me.

When I lived in busy cities, I was terrified to be alone because there were people on the streets all the time, I could always hear "crime" and I was always fearful some of that would happen in my apartment. Then, I moved to a very small town where there's hardly any crime. I'm not afraid to be alone anymore.

sometimes or oftentimes, we are distracted with all these crime scenes that is happening around us. it was not easy though. we get paranoid oftentimes. especially when in big cities. city with so wide streets and a lot of people. but it is always not safe to be hanging around.. hmmm. but in small towns and cities, there are some sort of security as well. but thou shalt not compience.. hmmm

um not really! i dont get to be alone all the time so i cherish moments when i am alone at home if my parents would take my kids out so i enjoy myself at home..alone!
