External hard disk issue

Hi,
Is there any way to recover files that saved in external hard disk after I accidentally reformat the external hard disk??? I need your help as I got some important data in it.

Yes there is vary of of softwares for recovery of lost data even you format the hard disk. or there are many vendors who done job for you and charge respectively.
I want to say ... lost data recovery is possible.

What kind of format did you do? Quick or Long? if you did a quick format you might be able to recover the files with some recovery software as the files are still there, if you did a long format. then they are pretty much gone, as the read / write heads touch every part of the drive, the short format only touchs one part and the recovery is much easier

It is not always possible to recover data once hard disk is formatted though it is not impossible. There are many software available, they cost a lot but can be helpful in recovering the data before formatting. They dont guarantee data recovery but with them much of the data can be recovered. Look for these on internet from a search engine.

You should at least no the meaning of formatting... It means, clearing all documents/files you've got on a device! Pal, I don't think you can get does documents back.
