I am also no fan of spices. I do not prefer to have spicy food. No doubt spicy food feels tasty when we eat it, but some spices do not suit our body and do harm then good. There is nothing wrong, if you do not spices, there are many who take plain and simple food, yet remain healthy. Your sister should not rate you as patient, because everyone can have her own likings and dislikings.

How much spices can you bear and which of them are your favourites?

I do like spicy foods but there is a limit as to how much I want to eat them. Some foods are too spicy for me like some Thai and Indian food. Most of it though I like and can eat. One time I had Thai food that was so spicy it was causing a burning sensation in my mouth. I had to drown it with sugar packets and water.

I love spicy food, the spicier the better. I don't usually get stomach upsets, except for a few times, when I had this great tasting dish at a restaurant - deepfried fish in green chilli paste. This is really, really spicy; I can feel my stomach heating up. Other than this dish, my stomach is able to tolerate other spicy food!

I love to eat spicy foods, especially the very hot or "deviled" cooking of Indian, Sri Lankan, Thai and Indonesian menu. Spices also have lots of medicinal value, so in a sense, I am eating both food and herbal medicine.

I love spicy food! The spicier, the better. I especially love hot wings. We have this awesome local wing place in my hometown with the best hot wings I have ever had. But I am pregnant now and can't handle the spiciness anymore. It gives me terrible heart burn and keeps me up all night.

Spicy...! My mouth waters. I love it, I do have it on regular basis and thank god my stomach doesn't get upset lol. In fact, I love every taste of food. Now this doesn't mean I am fat, though I eat a lot and taste every food at every corner of the city I am thin I don't know why. I don't eat food at my home unless its spicy. And I suggest you watch Mistress of spice, for clear definition of what spice is.

i like hot and spicy foods i make .in india we add many spices .i add ginger garlic in some curries and i will add more spices in non veg curries called cardomom, corriander powder, nutmeg, mace, red chilli powder, cloves, fennel seeds, cinamon . we make powder of these spices and i add just 1 spoon to any curries we make. we add 2 spoons in non veg curries. we keep stock of these mixed powder in big bottle and we will add in any curry we make daily,in our indian houses.there will be no houses in india without these ingredients i think.
as i am habituated to spicy foods from childhood ,i don;t get stomach upsets.

I am not much interested in spicy foods generally. But in rare occasions, I wanted to have some spicy but not too much. On those days, I'd take soups or noodles.
May be because of my food habits, if I eat spicy foods I get acidity and have to manage with fruits on the next day.

Hi akangirl
I like spicy food.
I would say the food is good when it is spicy.
Though I will eat the spicy food without any problem,People seeing me will get worried to see me sweating on my head and face.
Since I am brought up from birth with spicy food,I have no stomach problems also.
However it is advisable not to take more spicy foods. It may result in some ulcer problems or piles problems.
Happy eating .Sorry..Happy mylotting

Yes i like spicy foods. When i taste the spice it really makes my mouth feel hot.I love to eat a sweet or drink a glass of water that time.I also love the taste of pickle. It really allows me to finish my whole plate of rice. There is also a spicy powder. When we mix it with oil.It is good to eat with idlis or dosas.
