How Do You Solve This?

This is one of the questions that I had to answer during one of my job interviews sessions.
You are in a closed room with three switches. The three switches will turn on three light bulbs in another closed room and you are not able to see which switch will turn on which light bulb from your room.
You are allowed to turn the switches on and off for as many time as you like but you can only open and enter the room with the three bulbs ONCE and once you have done that, you need to identify which switch would turn on which light bulb.
I was given one minute to come up with the answer to this question and I managed to give them an answer. However, since they did not tell me whether my answer is right or wrong, I would like to ask you to give me your answers so that I could compare to my answer.
Remember that you are only given 1 minute to come up with the answer and hopefully nobody cheats ya...
Looking forward to your answer and have a nice day where ever you are! Cheers!

Electric bulb doesnot give only light energy, it also give heat energy. so you can know easily by sensing heat.
so here is the trick.
Switch on the first switch
After 30 seconds switch on the second switch
And after next 30 seconds switch on the third switch.
Now go to the room and touch the three bulb. Those bulb who got higer heat is of 1st switch, then less than that 2nd switch and lastly 3rd switch.

This will be my answer:
"I will be purely guessing if I will answer which among the switch turned on the lighted bulb. So if I was given a situation like this, I will definitely ask my superior to clear more things or for my staffs to provide more accurate details so I can make a right decision. But if I have to make a blind decision, my superior should be aware of the risks and should have given his/her consent before I will ever act on the situation."
