For me a true relationship is about being kind to each other and doing nice things for each other that show that you care for the other person. I believe in being respectful, even if you don't like someone. I don't really like Tina (not nerdytina) but I still feed her lasagna.

There are so many layers to a true relationship that it is often difficult to determine of this type of thing is a "one size fits all" type of answer. To me, a true relationship is based on honesty and it does not have conditions. The person I'm with cannot change me, nor can I expect to change them. We have to allow ourselves to mess up, become angry, and disagree - otherwise, we're living in a fantasy world. We have to allow each other to be ourselves, even if that means embarrassing one another from time to time. We have to be kind and considerate to one and other because, after all, that is how we want to be treated.
