TKI (Tenaga Kerja Indonesia) menjadi TKPI (Tenaga Kerja Profesional Indonesia)

Bisa nggak ya istilah TKI nantinya menjadi TKPI? Orang Australia misalnya, kalau mau cari programmer, temannya akan bilang: "Why don't you hire Indonesian? They're excellent worker, better than Indian." wah... keren

I think there is nothing wrong with the idiom of TKI. The inherent problem is that the majority of TKI is dominated by low-skilled workers. I think there is no point changing the idiom without changing the substantial meaning of that TKI. It is far more important to change the substantial meaning (through education and training) than to change the idiom.

That is a good hope, but not only skill we need to be a TKPI(Indonesian Professional Manpower). Our TKI (Indonesian Manpower) need to be leader in the world market, that is hard to do because our economy sometimes up and down. Now, prices in our country is not stable although government deduct prices of fuel oil. And, in the market price are still same not decreased.
