Do you use a guide the first time you did something?

All those guides are common sense. They're just hoping to make a buck of noobs.

yea, sometimes i do that. it gets hard and i sometimes get lazy and rely on guides to help me

You mean like quest guides? I try to stay away from most guides unless it's full of interesting stuff I wouldn't have known otherwise. I think guides take the fun out of finding things for yourself, so even with the hard quests, I like to try them out myself. While doing While Guthix Sleeps, I didn't use a guide, and when it took me 3 days to complete it, those were a very fun and interesting 3 days to figure everything out on my own :)

I don't normally use a guide, unless I am really stuck on something.

i have been playing for 3 years and that started in 4th grade and i learned everything in 1 year because i was so young. other wise i sometimes looked at like a quest guild for like the holiday events if i cant figure them out.
