Don't you just hate people who spit?

Gross!I know my husband is one of them,i'll just spit whenever or where ever he feel like it.It's embarassing,but if my kids do it,well they get in trouble. Ithink it a lack of respect for others and disgusting to look at..lol

i hate people who spit especially in the pool but i admit it it is normal but it needs proper place and timing to do it. some french man don't like to see someone spitting anywhere coz they dont do that.

Spitting is a very bad habit. I feel it's very disgusting. I think this situation will be changed when more people have some educations. I love China

In our country, spitting in a bus is against the law and punishable by a fine. I THINK that spitting in other places is also a crime but is rarely enforced. THAT'S a crime in itself! It is a disgusting habit that some people seem to feel okay with. Of course, some people also pee in public places, too... probably the same ones who spit in elevators! Anything that comes out of a human body should be done privately and discreetly! It's one of the things we have to put up with when we live around others, unfortunately. Some people have no more consideration of others than a wild animal has.

Well yeah where I go to school students spit many times on the ground , it's diguisting I don't see it as a good thing immagine you're walking and you fall on this spit , they also spit on the stair railings or what they are called I'm affraid hagging with them

I was thinking about this the other day because I went to Kaiser and right next to the grass was some nasty spit and it was green . Now I need to know why didn't they just spit on the grass? I just wonder what they think as they do this cause to me this is so nasty and if a small child accidently falls on this stuff I will be ready to kill someone.

I can't stand spitting. My ex-husband used to do this, and so did my dad. They'd really "huck it up" and it was so disgusting. My sons better not pick that habit up from their dad... I don't want to be grossed out by my own kids.

I think spitting is one of the most vile things I have ever seen people do. If you ask me I believe that it is rude and just shows laziness and that the person who did it is just inconsiderate of others. I never spit on the floor, I think it is gross. I have also raised my four children to not spit either. It is horrible when people do that. And yes, I have accidentally stepped in someone's spit. That was totally gross. Gosh yeah! Spitting can be very gross if not done in the proper place. One of the things that makes dealing with Tina so frustrating is that she spits all the time. She has not manners.

You're right...eeeewwwww. It could also transmit microorganisms that could cause diseases. These people should be arrested for being insensitive to other people's preferences and health condition. In some places, they have warnings to people like that. It is just like not throwing your litter into the trash can. It is also disrespectful of other people. Cheers and happy mylotting.

It is absolutely disgusting and inconsiderate to say the least, spitting in public show that this person is either a very selfish dude or never care much about personal hygiene. I have hear one public spitting dude claimed it is his culture to spit in public, which knock me off guard when i confronted him, i have never heard anything bizarre as this since how any civilized culture will accept such a sickening behavior. lol!

This is also a pet peeve of mine too. I think its a very gross and dirt habit and one I dont see the need of. To think of all the times I walked barefoot as a child..what was I stepping in?? Dont really want to know now. And to see woman doing it is even more disgusting..either way..use a kleenex if you must!

It's quite embarrassing but these people are quite common here in our country, especially to the squatters' area. It annoys me so much, worse is people here keep on doing that even in front of many people. In addition, they spit just anywhere they want! It's very irritating and disgusting!!! I just wish that the government will do something about it. It's not just disgusting but also affects the people around it. At least they could do is shoot it in a canal or in the trash.

Oh... You just don't know my Situtaion over here!!!! I live in India.. And spitting while walking is a very old ritual over here!!!! People spit here like they are showering flowers from heaven!!!huh!! Jut try passing besides a bus and there you just got a spit right on your face!!!! And did I forget to mention that every wall here is a open urinal for all men!! For girl like me it really disgusts the hell out of me!!! Even when I walking in public they will just spit and move and never even think about the other person besides them. These people will never be ashamed of this. I just hope that our goverment pass a law against it!!

Yekss i hate people who spits in everywhere, it was disgusting and nasty , but OMG it means that you see the things carefully and close, you know the word inspection like you said before lol Well there should be a fine for their bad habit, i often to see a spit and gum scatter over in public place, such as park, public telephone or just in the street, maybe one day they will receive their bad habit back from someone else, but i hope all people is just nice and clean ...

For me,I can not stand people who spit in Public Place.But unfortunately,you can see them anywhere.I think you are lucky,because you didn't step on it,but not everybody can escape.And this is my story: One afternoon,the weather was very nice.I walked with my roommates in our campus after class,talked about the English movie we watched in class,everyone was immersed in a happy atmosphere.At this time,something dropped down from the second floor and fell on my collar by the square.I was scared by the sudden caller and what is worse,my roommate told me it is a piece of phlegm!!!! Oh,my!That is the worst day in my life!Although it is my favorite shirt in summer,I throw it into the dustbin as soon as I get home. It has been a long time since it happened,but I am still very angry and want to know who did that to me!Maybe he didn't do that intentionally,but he didn't have the right to harm others!!!!

In my country you have to pay a fine if you are caught spitting on the ground. Usually spitters are uneducated youth who think they are so cool and imposing. I hate such people.

That really is disgusting. Some people have no shame. When I was little, we weren't allowed to go bare foot for this reason. My mother would say "Put your shoes on! People spit everywhere, and you'll step in it!" I used to think it was an absurd statement, but it really is true.
