I think they are played out. A couple years back I really wanted one but now I don't anymore. People at school dont wear them anymore. Every one is going for a "preppy" look at my school and they stopped wearing urban wear(baggy pants and tees). I like grilz but I think they sorta got old.

and see where i am from we have a lot of men come from the caribbean islands to work and things, so the urban culture of baggy pants and one leg rolled up is still in style. If anything the "gangsta" look is bacc full force or really juss comming out where i am at

Oh. I guess it depends on where you're at. All the guys I know are now wearing skinny jeans and fitted shirts. But styles vary depending on where you are. If you wanna get them for him, then you should.

lol, naw sis, now I told ya why I think u shouldn't get em for ur boo, they would look outta place with his style, he's not the "gangsta", "thug" type, they would look silly on him, its like sayin puttin a set of grils on John of all people, now imagine how dumb that would look lol.
I got nothing against grills, SOME people can pull them off, but on alot of people they just look like they tryin to hard to fit in to a certain style. Alot of people find grills to be played out, because too many people in the rap game were using them, and its the whole "monkey see-monkey do" situation, and when dirty south music got big, so did grills, now dirty south music has fizzled abit, as did the style of most grillz, I've noticed in music videos lately that alot of rappers who once had grillz, removed them.
Grills in my opinion should be left to people in that dirty south style, alot of people into the east coast shyt (and alot on westcoast) don't even rock grills. your own "dream hubby" JaRule used to make fun of ppl with grills who weren't from tha durty durty souf. I gotta see if i can find that interview again with him and show u.
