Mercy killing (Euthanasia) will you end up the suffering of an ill person? I am not sure how to respond on this matter what's your say, If a person is terminally ill and is just on a life support would you unplug the respirator to end up his/her sufferingg?

honestly im half hearted about that...first i believe ending one's life is a sin..but if you can see that the person is really having hard time already and suffering from pain..esp if that person is one of your loved ones..oh my it would really break my heart!
maybe if i'll be in that situation that my decision will be needed ... oh my i cant! maybe i'll just ask some of our family members to decide...

i can tell you from a personal experience in my family. I had a very close relative suffering from cancer and he had metastases all over his body, during his last days.He was asking for euthanasia because as he was saying he wanted to have a humaine end..not in pain.He was suffering. No doctor would allow it because it is illegal in Greece.so i agree with euthanasia..though under strict regulation, because this can be misused as well.

Yes. If they can't survive without the aid of a machine, then it's their time to go.
I've told my wife I would do that for her and I've made it clear I want it done if I'm ever in that situation.

It would never be an easy decision to make, but the extension of life would be pointless.
There has been a lot of debate on this subject over the years and there are many arguments against it. However, if the person has no hope of ever attaining any quality of life and continuation simply prolongs suffering then I do beleive that it would be the right thing to do.
