Disclaimer: I am an old hippie from the 60s. Now that we've established that I'm not a prude, let me tell you what the long term use of pot does to your brain. It makes you stupid. I have a couple of friends who have enjoyed smoking pot for years. They are in their 50s now and they are all morons. You can't have a conversation with them because they forget what they're saying in the middle of a sentence or they forget that they just told you that story and so they tell you again. My best friend is about to kill her husband because he has become so retarded...literally. Pot takes away your motivation. Sure, it's fun sitting around smoking a blunt...getting buzzed...but then what do you do? Nothing. You get the muchies...you giggle...you sit around some more. None of my pot using friends have made anything of their lives. One is a parts puller at a junk yard. How smart do you have to be to do that? Another still lives with his mother at 52 years old and is divorced. Weed is not safe. Sorry, I know you don't want to believe it since it's natural and seems safe, but it's not.
