how has the credit crunch affected you?

just wondering how the credit crunch/economic downturn has affected people all over the world on mylot. i have just recently lost my part time job in a cafe whilst being at college, as the owner simply couldn't afford to pay me anymore due to the decline in trade. please tell me and others if you have had to make any cutbacks or if it has had any affects on you.
