Last year I opted to cut down my soda intake drastically because the year before I eliminated coffee from my diet as well. I was a big caffine drinker! I went without soda for about six months and then I missed the taste of my vanilla coke's and let myself have one. I haven't completely cut out soda but I probably only drink one 20oz bottle a month.
I have taken up coffee again, but only on friday mornings because I now work in a coffee shop and it's free!

I don't plan on drinking less soda because my husband buys soft drinks almost everyday. I've been telling him to minimize drinking soda but since he always asked me to drink and accompany him I can't resist. Besides it's so nice to drink soda when the weather is hot just like almost everyday. But when we don't have extra coins then we don't buy one. If it is true that soda can cause high blood pressure I better tell him to minimize his soda intake because he has high BP.

I would like to. I wish it were easy to stay away from Coke Light or Coke Zero and Diet Dr. Pepper.

I recently have fairly dramatically increased the amount of coffee I drink. This has in itself cut down on my soda intake alittle. However as I drnk way too much of both I intend to remove both from my diet for at least two weeks starting the 7th of Feb. I am using that dat because we usually do our mothlyshopping on the seventh and I can buy alot of water and juice to replace the coffee and soda.
