What is a soulmate?

To me a soulmate is that person that you feel you have known for a long time. They complete you in everyway and make you feel so good inside. I feel a soulmate can be a friend or a lover to me it does not matter. I feel I have found mine about 10 years ago. My boyfriend and I have been through a lot of crap and it seems no matter what happens we pull through it. TO me that is what a soul mate is. I hope I helped and happy mylotting as well.

I really don't know. I thought I used to know and I thought I found mine but my husband and I are currently separated so I guess we were not as connected as I thought we were. I think you soulmate should be your best friend and never, ever want to hurt you. Should be someone you consider in your thoughts all day long and someone you do things for without thinking or wanting something in return. I hope everyone can find their soulmate and that no one has to go through the pain I am going through now.

My college professor once told us during our clas discussions that all of us were destined to have the person that will complete us even before we were born. Talking abour soulmates, I indeed believe on such because I believe and I know that each of us have that person. But the problem is that,there are lots of people that we will meet everyday. Knowing that we dont know who is that person that is destined to us, it is difficult to find that person. All we need to do is to be careful of giving our love to the person. It's you who can feel whether he/she is the right one for you. For those who havent meet their soulmates until now, dont be sad theres always more fish in the sea.

I have never understood this term. Anyway I think we are always alone in our ultimate journey. Having had a soulmate or no doesn't matter in the ultimate nalysis. To understand what a soul mate is like I had gone through some of the responses, but found that there may be many in one's life fitting that description. For sometime I kept thinking soul-mate need be a partner found in one's life when that partner happens to be just the right one for us!?!

Soul mate is if it can completely and blissfully happy. :) But of course its always our choice. If we will start to develop a relationship with the ingredients for highly compatible, successful relationship then you work to develop closeness and to strengthen your relationship. As the specialist says, soul mates are made, not born. :) Fall in love for all the right reasons. :) That's the best way to know who your soul mate is. :)

Hi, no such thing as a soulmates, at least not on earth. That word is just a way to make people believe in the unbelievable but there is such thing as a kindred spirits and that is a person that has so much in common with you and when you find a kindred spirit you will know it. A person can find many kindred spirits, there is not just one. And yes I have some kindred spirits.
