Last night, my husband and I took the kids to the store. We went with the intention of getting the kids MP3 players, but instead, we bought Guitar Hero World Tour, the entire game set. We have all been wanting this one since we knew it would be coming out. We came home, set it up, and played until close to midnight. It is so much fun, I am glad we got it.
Have you ever waited what feels like a very long time for a game that you really want? Were you excited to take it home and play it, or did you wait a while?

Dragon Quest V. The original despite being hyped NEVER got a NA release. They left us hanging for years about it. Orginal was an SNES game (I belive) so gives you an idea of the timeline.
Suddenly they announce a release on DS that's not comming out till next year. Still waiting!

You made the right choice. I love guitar hero games. I dont have a set but I have played it at gamestop. I dominate it on easy lol. I plan to get guitar hero 3 in the near future or guitar hero legends. I am currently waiting for Halo 3 ODST its so awesome. I have played Halo 3 and its the best and online also. My favorite game genre is scifi shooting games and halo and gears of war. I recently got gears of war 2. It was worth it. Well, kinda because I kinda beat it in less then four days. But the multiplayer was worth it. I have played many hours of multiplayer and it hasnt gotten boring.

Hasn't Guitar Hero World Tour been out for awhile? You're talking about a set that comes with guitars, drums and a microphone? Maybe that just came out? Anyway, I usually don't buy games when they first come out. I like to wait for a price drop, but some companies (Nintendo) never drop their games down in price. I'd like to track down some of those Final Fantasy games on DS that are already out, but the stores in my area have such a poor selection that I guess I'll have to check online.
