We all have that ONE teacher that has made a difference in our lives. Who was yours and how did he/she make a difference?
Right now my graphic communications teacher is the best to me. He has been in the business for many MANY years and has so much knowledge on the subject. He's also taken psychology, so he knows how to connect with everyone. Kids who were in his class years ago always come by during class, and sit at the tables in the back because they feel comfortable with him. Most of the kids who have taken his class are successful today because of him, one guy who worked for Disney.
So what about you guys? I would love to hear from you.

I was so short when i was a kid and a lot of my kindergarten classmates used to bully me. I have no other person to talk to about this and going to school was nightmare for me. My teacher, Mrs. Pascua was my friend. She seemed to understand even the least detail I never uttered. I was able to finish kindergarten with flying colors.

I have seen many teachers and they were very much talented. There was no question of their teaching ability and knowledge. I respect most to the teacher, who was our SCHOOL HEADMASTER. He was a math teacher. As a teacher he was great but I respect him because of his personality. His dedication for the school and student. It was great to have a teacher like him.

I've had some amazing teachers throughout my years of education, but the one that has always meant the most to me is my fourth grade teacher. As a post-graduate student, you would think that over the years I would have encountered a teacher or professor who affected me more than someone who taught me in grade school, but this woman was incredibly special. I was never more excited to learn and eager to please than in her class, and she was really into literature and writing. As a child I always liked to read and write, but in her class, I fell in LOVE with it. She instituted what she called "literary Fridays" where we studied lit and language far beyond what normal eight and nine-year-olds were learning, and it was just absolutely incredible. Since then, I have not stopped writing - throughout high school, I took every english class and elective that was offered, and majored in English Literature and Writing in college. Ultimately, I would like to earn an MFA in Creative Writing as well, and I can't help but be grateful that my fourth grade teacher ignited this fire in me! I have been working on books and researching publishing houses -- I plan on dedicating the first one published to my dear teacher!
In recent years, I have learned that her husband passed away, and she moved. She has also gotten remarried and taken her new husband's name. I would like to get in contact with her, but have had trouble finding out where she is now. Hopefully I will someday be able to sit down for coffee with her, or send her a nice long letter about what a difference she made in my life!
