what do you do to calm down when you're feeling pissed off?

before i used to nag to the person whom im pissed off, say bad words to him/her.. but now,since i am with HIM,, i knew how to calm down my temper, sit down and relax, think first before saying anything to anybody.. and divert myself to something else than can help me to calm down. like listen to music, get inside my room and sleep, or go to the kitchen and eat. LOL what do u do?

I have found that one of the greatest stress relievers I have is breaking stuff. I love breaking pottery, light bulbs, jars, and stuff like that. I don't know why, but it makes me feel good and calms me.

Why not? It's fun. I do it when I'm not upset, too. It's just fun and it doesn't hurt anyone. I just have to make sure that my eyes are protected from any flying shards. You should try it sometime. It's very relaxing.

What I do when am pissed off? Hmmmmmm!...I turned my back because am controlling my temper and the possibility that I might punch or give a jab on his/her face. I take 3 deep breaths and it really helped. Sometimes, I love and in the mood to write when am mad and pissed off. I release it through writing.....Those are just few of my ways in lowering my temper.

i clench my fists and growl when i am pissed off.but i would always turn to some side to look at something else to distract my attention.i don't like to get angry because of the consequences that follow.i would get rather impulsive and say hurtful things that i did not meant to say.

i get my psp and play wrestling. i would rather beat someone there and control myself and shake of my desires to hit someone on the face. before when i was younger i break or rip something... not anymore. thank you to all the portable games and i can now easily make my self cool down than tearing something.

Unfortunately I either eat, nag at him/her or I go to my room and lock myself up in there with my laptop and goof around on the computer until I'm not mad anymore. Kudos to you for being able to calm down by sitting down and relaxing! I hope I can learn that. I know the Lord says you should think before speaking but I can't help it sometimes!

thank you for the response! yes iam like that before also.. if i am pissed of or mad, gosh i am like a tiger or a lion.. LOL my eyes will get bigger and my mouth will not stop nagging to the person whom im pissed off. LOL but now, no more.. instead i will said.. Lord help to control myself and not to say anything bad to them. you can do i also.. believe me.
