Does anyone watch The Mentalist? This is a pretty good show. Again, it is a 'cop' show and deals with almost the same things that the show Fringe and Eleventh Hour deal with.
Do you see a pattern here? It is as if our government is holding a carrot in front of us and saying, "You need to catch the carrot. Look at what we have done and can do to you lemmings."
Have you ever wondered who really controls the news media and hollywood? How do you think our government can show you, "In plain sight" what they can do to us. TV shows are the best way to get their message across. We just have to be willing to read or watch between the lines.

i watch it and i like how Patrick Jane solved all the case. Grace Van Pelt is very pretty but she have a bodyguard figure :D
i prefer Theresa Lisbon, she is pretty, green eyes and really patient with Jane's behavior.

I watch The Mentalist as much as I can, the episodes might be a little late as I only watch it in a local channel here in the Philippines but I have loved it the first time I chanced upon it. Simon Baker is a good choice and he made the character of Patrick Jane very sexy and believable plus lovable *grins*.
And I beg to differ, I don't know about Eleventh Hour but I do watch Fringe and except for the both show being about cops, I can't see any more similarities between them, unless you'll count Simon Baker and Joshua Jackson, they being both hot *grins*.

I watch it and I watch Eleventh Hour and have seen Fringe a couple of times. While Eleventh Hour and Fringe have some similarities with Eleventh Hour being much better and more realistic, The Mentalists is nothing like them. The Mentalists does not deal with missuse of science, etc., it deals with regular crime and Patrick Jane helps solve the cases by paying very close attention to detail and with a sharp ability of observation.

I watch it. It's a pretty good show but the only problem is that Jane seems to figure out everything, and I do mean everything, by himself, and the real cops on that show don't do much of anything. It would be nice if the other characters actually mattered but right now they don't. There are other shows that revolve around one primary character that don't make the other characters irrelevant. House and 24 are two that come to mind. I think if the Mentalist wants to become a great show then they have to find a way to make the other characters relevant.
