I danced around the house a lot when I was little, and I joined my first dance class in 1st grade. It was ballet. I was only in it for a year I didnt like the outfit we had to wear to perform lol, and then switched to tap dancing. I really liked that but switched after a year to jazz. I stuck with that for 3 years and then my dance instructor retired when I was in 5th grade. So I stopped dance classes till I turned 18. I didnt stop dancing though we had a teen club in town so I went at the age of 12 to that, then when I was 14 another club opened up for teens and I went to that every weekend till I was 18, then I took a hip hop dance class. After that I just continued to dance in clubs but I would really like to get back in to taking classes.

I did not start formal dance training until I was 14, however, I had been doing choreographed movement in some way, shape, or form my whole life (diving followed by cheerleading and karate) so by the time I got to dance, it didn't take long to catch on at all. I have done ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical, ballet, and modern, and have also taken classes in improvisation and several international dance forms (such as African and German Folk).
Right now, I do independent dance work as well as whatever opportunities with other companies and organizations I can get. I am currently in the process of establishing several of my own dance companies, the first of which should be off the ground shortly. I am also working hard for a performance coming up in March.

Dancing is alot of fun. I did it for 17 years and enjoyed every minute i was at the studio or in school dancing. Even though my parents paid so much for me to dance i wouldnt take it back for anything. If i could still do it i would, but where i live they dont accept dancers over the age oe 18 in classes except adult classes and not to be mean but the class is so slow and i cant stand it. I started when i was 21 going to a local club and dancing because it was the only way to get out and dance here in my town. I stopped doing that about when i turned 22, it got old and the club turned to a country line dance place and of course you can just hip hop there. Its expensive to go out and ejoy fun. Dancing was my life five night a week at the studio and then in highshool we have a dance class i took that i enjoyed.
