I find this insensitive and rude. especially if they haven't even bothered to participate in my discussions. They should first be trusted before someone signs up. It's good to send links if the purpose is to help but if it is only for your own advancement, at any cost, then your motivations would classify whether your act is good or bad. How could someone click your link when he doesn't even come to get to know you? if it's a reliable site or not? What is your opinion on this?

Yes, I also find it insensitive and rude and do not approve of such initiatives. If anyone wish to send me referral links, then he is dialling the wrong number. I remain least interested in such links, because I do not much time to do all and sundry acvities. I have obsereved that some members join mylot primarily for earning money and their only motive is to earn money and for that matter they make friends and send them affiliate links, so that they could earn more and more. I fail to understand that is 'money' is the only thing, they people want in life and what will they do with such money, I cannot understand.

This is really very annoying. At least, I won't follow a link recommended by a stranger. I believe this is simple wastage of energy.

I had a problem with NOT friends like that and would write them a nasty message telling them how they should be a friend but that didn't help and only stressed me out. Now I just respond with NO THANKS and then delete them as a friend. It doesn't even bother me now. People are people, right

This happened once to me, and it doesn't happen anymore. I review all friend requests, I look at how many discussions they started and participated in, and their topic. If they are only about making money, they are rejected.
