Blood Pressure

Does coffee affect your blood pressure? Because the last time I drank coffee, my blood pressure went up to 140/110, my normal blood pressure is just 110/80. Or maybe there might have been something that triggered my blood pressure to go higher, but I don't know what it is.

because caffeine is a stimulant, there is a good reason to suspect that coffee and high blood pressure might be related. caffeine, though, is a very mild stimulant, and has a short life span in the body. caffeine is also a self-timing stimulant, because it acts on the kidney to increase the rate of its own excretion. evidence has repeatedly shown that consumption of caffeine does not increase the risk of high blood pressure, heart attack or heart disease.

I dont drink coffee, the first one I tried was something scarry, I had palpitations, felt uncomforatble for that very reason I did not drink coffee for my own sake. Thank you for sharing and have a nice day!
