The funny thing for me is the days where I have to be up at a certain time to get my kids up and ready for school the alarm always wakes me up. On their off days from school I wake up at the same exact time, but without an alarm. I don't get it???

Haha. It's really funny to hear that. But when I'm staying home, my grandmother is always my alarm clock. You know why, because of her deafness, she always shouts at everybody and we can hear her rooster-mouth every 6:00 in the morning.

My mobile phone is my alarm clock. It will ring at different time three times. It'll ring at 7:00am at first because I have to wake up and prepare for my son to go to kindergarten. Then it'll ring at 7:50am as it's the time for my husband to wake up. Then it will ring at 8:15am on every Saturday as I have to go to work at that time.

yeah i really need an alarm clock to wake me up. after 2 weeks i start to wake up on my own (like 2 minutes before the clock goes off)! but i still use it because sometimes i go to bed later than usual (like 2 am) so it helps! i need something REALLY LOUD to get me up, it has to be LOUD and ANNOYING because i'm lazy!
now my mom..... she gave up on me a long time ago.

I stopped using an alarm clock 14 years ago when my son turned 1 and was able to walk over to the night stand and change the time on my clock. After wakinging up late for work a few times, I realized that I had better learn to live without an alarm clock to get up. Haven't used one since.

I need three alarmclocks to get me upp the days I work early (which means getting up at 5:20, or 6:20 if I'm lucky): My "real" alarmclock, then my mobile alarm three minutes later, and then my mobiles calender function that reminds me to go to work two minutes after the mobile alarm!
Only then will do I enter into this world and understand I have to get out of my wonderfull bed and work...
