When i work on my PC at night that time i feel some headache and pain in my eyes. That time i take a break for some time. After some time i start my work with extra energy. It is good for me to do work. It is very good for me to take a break. In that break i close my eyes and take deep breathe. Some times i went to my roof, And walk as fast as i can. Some times i go to bath room and wash my eyes with cold water. These methods give a lot of relaxation to my eyes and also me.

This is one of the drawbacks with the prolong use of computer you get your eye strained and tired. It would be best that you take time to have your eyes rest for the few minutes a ways with the computer monitor. Closing your eyes would help a lot or you can look at something green for a bit this helps on refreshing your eyes and takes away eye strain. Try it and this will surely help you.

That is what you call 'eye strain', you see when you focus so much on one thing ~ which is for our case the computer, sooner or later your eyes would feel the stress by the glare of the monitor, not to mention the possibility of radiation with longer exposure. Plus, these sites also reload fast or go to pages or switch pages fast, so our eyes are strained by the movement of everything we focus with on our computer. Sooner or later, our eyes would give up and is somewhat burned out that's why every once in a while we need to rest it for a few minutes or seconds.
Actually the best type of rest would be to look at the farthest thing you could see. That's why it's good that you go to your roof and just look everywhere. I don't think it's a good idea to wash your eyes with cold water, because it's like you running for a while (and your body is sweating all over) then you drench yourself suddenly in cold water, I don't think that's very helpful to the eyes.
Good luck!

Staying in front of the computer for long hours is really straining to the eyes. For every two hours of continuous work in front of the pc, you should get 15 minutes eye rest. Look at a blank wall or simply close your eyes. Headache and backache may also accompany frequent computer use because you stay in only one position. Try to walk around the office/home once in a while. Happy mylotting!

This has been a problem for me, as well. I've had to develop a routine over the years whereby I stop using the computer prior to the on-set of eye fatique and eye strain headaches. So, now I work a little while and then retreat to write into notebooks for awhile to give my eyes a rest. It's been working great!
