Is the Sims a laptop-friendly game?

My fairy godmother's been a nice person to buy us up the entire collection of the Sims, really. The only problem is that we don't own a desktop computer, so we once tried to install it in the laptops. THE GAME CRASHED. It felt heartbreaking 'cause the PC series was the one I preferred, to be honest. Now all we can do is play it on the XBOX, which is now obsolete. Hmph. Have you tried installing the Sims in your laptop? Did it run?

I didn't have a problem with The Sims on my laptop until my disk drive broke. There must be something on your computer that is not compatable with the game. You might want to check the system settings on your laptop and update them or get a new one. Just a thought.

Hi there Chance. There is a real possibility that you computer does not have enough resources of one kind (or more) to support the game. You should take a look at the system requirements the game was provided with, and compare with what you have (Processor speed, Ram memory, Video Card)

I have the Sims. But there is no problem to run it from my laptop. I can't see why you will have problem to run this game. Perhaps your laptop's equipment can't support it. Such as not enough ROM? I love China

my laptop handle the sims 2 fairly well. a little laggy but it didn't crash. did you check and make sure the laptop was compatible? like, its graphics card is up to date? that could fix it.
